The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported the next shelling of the territories of the republic from the Armenian side.
The department noted that units of the Armed Forces of Armenia broke up with interruptions in the positions of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan in the villages of Yukhara Ayrym Kyalbadzharsky district and Astaf Dashkensky district.
“In addition, members of illegal Armenian armed groups in Azerbaijan, where the Russian military contingent was temporarily deployed, periodically fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the Khojalinsky and Khojavender regions.
Units of the Armed Forces of the AR took adequate response measures, the department noted.
