Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu held telephone conversations with the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan, Iran and Azerbaijan.
This was reported on Friday by the press service of the foreign policy of Turkey.
The Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Merdov, in particular, thanked Chavushoglu for organizing an extraordinary summit of the organization of Turkic states. The prospects for the development of bilateral relations were discussed.
Chavushoglu also conducted telephone conversations with Iranian and Azerbaijani colleagues Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan and Jaykhun Bayramov.
The ministers, among others, discussed regional issues.
