Russia does not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court in the Hague. This was stated on Tuesday by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, answering the question of how the Kremlin refers to information about the possibility of considering two cases in this court against the Russian Federation on the situation in Ukraine.
“We do not recognize this court, we do not recognize the jurisdiction of this court. So we relate to this,” the media quote Peskov.
As the Kremlin representative emphasized, in Moscow it is not tired of reminding that “for many years, no international judicial [institutions], even those that we do not recognize, nor other members of the international community have borrated to pay attention to the destruction of civilian infrastructure, for the killings of civilian people who Ukrainian nationalists arranged in the Donbass. “
