President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko went on an official visit to Iran. Lukashenko’s aircraft flew out of the Minsk National Airport, the press service of the Belarusian leader said.
Lukashenko’s visit to Iran will take place on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (March 18) between countries.
In Tehran, the head of the Belarusian state will negotiate with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisisi.
“The main topic of negotiations in Tehran will be the development of interaction on the entire spectrum of bilateral relations with an emphasis on trade and economic cooperation. The meeting of the presidents will be held in narrow and expanded compositions with the participation of delegations. The parties will discuss the implementation of projects in the fields of industry, agriculture, transport and logistics. Special attention will be paid to the situation in the region and in the world as a whole, ”the press service said.
In Iran, Alexander Lukashenko will also meet with First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, Chairman of the Assembly of the Islamic Council Mohammad-Bagar Galibaf and the supreme leader of Iran Ali Khamenei.
