ООН делает все возможное для продолжения “зернового соглашения”

The UN, led by Secretary General Antoniu Guterrysh, does everything possible to continue the implementation of the agreement on the grain corridor. This was announced by the Deputy Secretary General of the UN for humanitarian issues and the coordinator of emergency assistance to Martin Griffiths.

Griffith commented on the initiatives on a grain agreement in the UN Security Council.

According to him, the World Organization continues to establish close contacts with all parties.

The validity of the Black Sea Grain initiative expires on March 18. Russia agreed to extend the agreement for a period of 60 days. Earlier, the agreement was extended for 120 days.

July 22 in Istanbul in the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary General Antoniu Gutherrisha, an agreement was signed on the safe transportation of grain from the ports of Ukraine.

Signatures under the document were made by representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the UN and Turkey.

The agreement that is realized during Turkey coordination is aimed at resolving the global food crisis.
