Consultations on the issue of extending the action of the grain agreement are ongoing. This was stated by Anadolu (AA) the head of the press service of the UN Geneva Office Alessandra Velucci.
According to her, the UN is ready for feasible steps on the issue of maintaining the action and “package” of the grain agreement.
Add to already voiced statements on this issue there is still no way, said Veluchchi.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko, said earlier that the grain transaction was extended for 60 days.
At the same time, the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey reported that in the framework of the Black Sea grain initiative concluded on July 22, 2022, 24 million tons of agricultural products were exported from the ports of Ukraine and the UN ports.
