Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi held negotiations with the acting head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyar Saidov.
According to the Irna Agency, Saidov is on an official visit to Tehran.
During the negotiations, Raisi emphasized the need to develop bilateral connections between Iran and Uzbekistan.
Saidov, in turn, stated that his Uzbekistan is aimed at a comprehensive strengthening of ties with the Islamic Republic.
As part of the visit to Tehran Saidov, he also held negotiations with Foreign Minister Iri Hussein Amir Abdollahiyan.
