Tesla lost control and knocked down pedestrians

Two people died and three were injured as a result of an accident with a Tesla car that occurred in Chaozhou, the province of Guangdun in South China, Global Times reports.

According to the newspaper, the accident occurred due to a malfunction in the car software: the machine accelerated to maximum speed and became uncontrollable. The police began checking the incident.

According to the publication, the accident occurred after a driver named Zhang Parked Tesla Model-Y model. Then he sharply lost control, the car flew several kilometers at high speed, and later crashed into two motorcyclists and cyclists. The driver tried several times to stop the car by pressing the stop signal, but this did not help.

Tesla promised to check the incident, as well as provide the necessary assistance to the families of the victims.
