In the Nusaybin area, Mardin in the southeast of Turkey, the memory of eight civilians, killed on March 7, 1987, militants of the terrorist organization of the RKK.
The commemoration ceremony was held in the Achikyol area and began with the reading of the Holy Koran. The audience offered prayers for the innocently killed at the hands of terrorists, as well as the victims of the February earthquakes in the south and southeast of Turkey.
The head of the region Nusaybin Erzhan Kayabashi emphasized that the pain of the loss of compatriots is fresh, as on the first day. “We gathered here to honor the memory of those who died at the hands of the bloody and treacherous terrorist organization of the RSC,” Kayabashi said.
According to him, the bloody terrorist organization continues to carry out its cruel deeds, not being different between the old people, children or women.
“Turkey is determined to eradicate terrorism. The most striking examples of the savagery and meanness of the PKK are the peaceful inhabitants of Turkey. Our country is more than ever, tuned to decisive struggle against crime,” Kayabashi emphasized.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan previously stated that since 1984, when the militants of the RSC for the first time carried out a terrorist attack in Turkey, thousands of employees of Turkish security forces, military and civilians died at the hands of this bloody organization.
The United States and the European Union introduced RKK to the lists of terrorist organizations.
In recent years, the RSC seeks to shift responsibility for bloody crimes in the region to its branches.
In Syria, the RKK terrorists are covered by the names Pyd and YPG, and in the last two years they call themselves “Syrian democratic forces.”
In Iran, RSC acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
