Over the past day, 297 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan. According to the report of the Operational Headquarters for Combating Coronavirus under the Cabinet of Ministers on Tuesday, March 9, 126 patients were discharged after completion of treatment.
Over the past day, three people who tested positive for coronavirus have died from complications of existing diseases.
In total, 237,260 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Azerbaijan, of which 229,915 people were successfully treated, 3,250 patients of clinics died. Treatment of 4,095 people infected with COVID-19 continues in special hospitals.
During the specified period, 2,663,151 tests were carried out in Azerbaijan to detect coronavirus infection, including 5,152 over the past day.
