30 most important banks in world

The Financial Stability Council (FSB), which includes representatives of the Central Bank of the G20 countries, called JPMorgan Chase the most important bank of the world. Top 30 leading credit institutions have been published on the website of the Council.

FSB appreciated 30 world banks that have the status of globally systemically significant, distributing them in five baskets, depending on the value of the allowance for capital adequacy ratio, which is required to observe national regulators from specific banks.

The maximum possible surcharge, indicating the highest significance of the bank for the global financial system, is set at a level of 3.5 percent. In the current year, such requirements are not presented to any bank, in last year’s ranking they corresponded to JPMorgan Chase.
