A large order from Azerbaijan saved auction in Austria

The last auction of breeding cattle in the Austrian community, Reed-im-Innzrais almost failed. According to the German media, Dr. Josef Mizenberger, prices on the proposed females of tribal calves were significantly lower than the expectations of the sellers.

At the last moment, the auction saved a large order from the company “Schalk”, which purchased most animals for further exports to Azerbaijan.

According to information, the average selling price of cows at the auction was 2000 euros. The maximum price proposed for one cow exceeded 3 thousand euros.

At the same time, 118 tribal calves were sold in bulk, and their price amounted to 445 euros.

It is noteworthy that earlier haqqin.az in its article “The demand for meat in Azerbaijan is increasing, but the prices do not grow” wrote that among Azerbaijani farmers there is a tendency to reflect the breeding of cattle. Azerbaijani farmers sell their cows and buy more sheep.
