A new commissar for human rights was appointed to UN

The UN General Assembly appointed the new Commissioner for Human Rights.

The UN General Assembly approved the Austrian Folker Turk to the post of Supreme Commissioner for Human Rights.

“Let me believe that the General Assembly wants to approve the appointment of the UN Secretary General of the United Nations from Austria by the Supreme Commissar of the UN Human Rights for a four -year term. The decision was made,” the host of the meeting said.
