Earlier, voice chats could be created only in groups, this function appeared in the messenger in December 2020.
“Voice chat rooms in channels and public groups have no restrictions on the number of participants. Live args can simultaneously listen millions of people, thanks to which, every Telegram can now become a full-fledged radio station,” the message says.
Public groups and channel administrators can now create invitation links that immediately open voice chat. You can create separate links for speakers and listeners – invited speakers do not have to wait until they are allowed to include a microphone, and a separate link for listeners is conveniently published in communities with an interested audience.
