A Russian ship caught fire in Sea of Japan

The Russian ship “Angara” caught fire in the Japanese Sea, about six kilometers north of the city of Toyama on the island of Hongsu, local media reports.

All 25 crew members consisting of Russian citizens were removed from a burning vessel, noted in messages, information was confirmed by the Russian Consulate General in Niigat.

“Angara” with a load, used by Japanese cars followed from the Port of Fusiki to Vladivostok. The cause of the fire, according to preliminary data, was the ignition of one of the cars on the deck of the vessel.
