A telephone booth was installed in Japan to talk to dead

Residents of Japan remember those killed in the devastating earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011 off the east coast of Honshu. Those who would like to say goodbye to their deceased loved ones can use a special telephone booth. It was built by Itaru Sasaki in the city of Otsuchi.

According to Swissinfo, people can use this phone to call the deceased on their mobile numbers and talk to them as if they were alive. This is done so that people can calm themselves.

It is noted that the booth has already been nicknamed “the wind telephone”. It attracts thousands of residents from all over Japan. Moreover, it is also used by people who have lost relatives under other circumstances.

The builder of the booth said that such a phone has already become interested in the UK and Poland. Similar booths can be built in these countries so that people can call relatives who have died due to coronavirus.
