Russian air defense (air defense) destroyed six jet shells over the Belgorod region. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, May 22.
The department noted that the attack was carried out using the reactive system of the hail volleys.
In turn, the Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the air defense system worked in the Borisov district and several air targets were shot down on the approach to the village of Belenko.
“To a great grief, one peaceful resident died – the man had multiple fragmentation injuries incompatible with life,” he wrote in his Telegram – channel
According to him, there is also one victim in the village – “a man has a closed head injury, multiple abrasions of his face and upper extremities, bruises of the lower extremities”.
The governor also said that on the morning of May 22, an electric train was subjected to an electric train that followed without passengers.
In addition, according to the head of the region, the air defense system worked in the Shebekinsky city district, where, in addition, one woman was injured.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that during the last night, three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles on duty were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region and one UAV – over the territory of the Kaluga region.
