Additional Russian troops were sent to the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, the governor of the region Roman Starovoit said, Russian media reported.
“Troops continued to be entered to our region to strengthen defense capacity. Our task is to help them settle down to reliably ensure security on the border,” the governor said.
