The peacekeeping mission of the African Union (AS) in Somali (Atmis) as part of the plan for the withdrawal of “blue helmets” handed over seven military bases to Somali military.
The forefront of the output of the AC contingent involves the reduction of the ATMIS contingent by two thousand people. Until the end of September, it is planned to withdraw from Somalia three more military military.
Today, 20 thousand “blue helmets” of AS have been deployed on the territory of Somalia, the full conclusion of which is scheduled for December 2024.
