The Council of the Armenian community in Iran supported the authorities of the Islamic Republic against the backdrop of riots, protests in the country, Iranian media reported.
“We, together with the followers of other religions and ethnic groups of this holy land on the side of the system and the authorities of IRI, and require stability, security of the country, prosecution of those responsible for the crimes and violations of public security,” the Council said in a statement.
