The State Agency for Tourism organized a visit to representatives of the tourist industry in the Agdam district.
As reported by HaqQin.Az, the press service of the State Agency on the trip was attended by representatives of tourist companies and hotels operating in Azerbaijan, as well as guides and tourist bloggers.
During the visit, the participants visited the complex Imaret, the Museum of Bread, the remnants of the drama theater building, as well as the Fortress of Shablag, Agdam Juma Mosque and Mosque in the village of Giayasla.
The participants of the trip familiarized themselves with the results of the Act of Ursicide against Agdam, who for the time of 30-year occupation turned into a “Ghost City”, and evaluated the existing tourist opportunities of the area.
They also got acquainted with the work done on the reconstruction and restoration of the Agdam district, including the city of Agdam.
We note that the special representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Agdam is planned to organize travel to the part of the district, including the city of Agdam, called “our way – in Agdam.”
Trips “Our Way – in Agdam” will be organized according to special rules under the supervision of trained guides, drivers and organizers of the tours.
