The head of the department recalled that the agreement on the modernization of aircraft was signed in October 2019.
According to him, three similar aircraft modernized in the Caiseri province have already been transferred to the Turkish Air Force command.
The Minister noted that the modernization of one of the most modern military transport vessels – A400M can be performed today in only 4 centers of the world, and the fact that this process is carried out and at the technical maintenance of aviation equipment in the Caiseri Province is the subject of pride Turkey.
“Thanks to the agreement with Airbus, the capabilities of the enterprise in Kaiseri expanded. Kaiseri, the leading industrial center of Turkey, took another important step towards becoming an important technological and production center. The Minister recalled that A400M military transport aircraft are widely used in the world, including when providing assistance, evacuation, military operations, transportation of personnel and equipment.
