American media: a blow to Moscow was inflicted thanks to US intelligence data

The Ukrainian missile blow to the Russian cruiser Moscow was inflicted thanks to the American intelligence, transferred to Ukraine, the NBC American television channel said, and after it the Washington Post and New York Times, all with reference to several anonymous officials from the USA.

BBC reports that, according to various estimates, the number of crew “Moscow” was from 416 to 680 people, including, as it turned out later, sailors-cones. American sources confirm the Ukrainian version that two Ukrainian Neptune missiles fell into the ship on April 13, after which it caught fire and eventually sank. American officials did not name the number of Russian victims, saying only that it was high.

BBC notes that the Russian version of events raises many questions: on April 13, the Russian authorities said that a fire arose on the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, which caused the detonation of ammunition. The next day, they reported that the ship sank during towing to Sevastopol. On April 22, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that as a result of this fire, one crew member died and 27 more “went missing.” Since then, there are no reports that these people are found alive or dead. The Russian authorities have never explained the reasons for the “fire”, which, according to their version, to the death of the ship.

According to American sources, the Armed Forces of Ukraine released missiles on the cruiser, first requesting the Americans information about him. American sources say that they did not take part in the decision to hit Moscow.

Early morning on Thursday, New York Times, citing anonymous sources, wrote that thanks to the American intelligence, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to kill an unusually large number of senior Russian military. The US National Security Council was called irresponsible, and the Pentagon indicated that no data that can individually attack the Russian military leaders provide.
