An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 occurred in Xinjiang-Uygursky Autonomous District of China

In the Xinjiang-Uygursky Autonomous Region in the north-west of China, an earthquake of magnitude 5.3.

According to the Chinese center of seismic networks (CENC), the tremors were recorded in the morning, on Saturday, February 24.

The epicenter was located in the Akchi area on the territory of the Kyzylsu-Kirgiz Autonomous Okrug.

According to preliminary data, there are no victims and destruction as a result of the earthquake.
