Moldova President Maya Sanda made a statement for closer relations with the United States. Statement by M. Sandu Posted on her Facebook page after meeting in Chisinau with Deputy Assistant US Secretary of State Robin Dunnigan.
“We discussed bilateral relations, including the US funded by the United States of the Republic of Moldova. In this context, I emphasized that Moldova was interested in to deepen a strategic dialogue with the United States, which are one of our main development partners,” Sanda wrote.
President stated that the United States assured her in support of the new government program.
Later the US Embassy in Moldova spread a message about a two-day visit R.Dannigan to Chisinau in order to discuss regional problems.
