Anglo Asian Mining asks for support for international community to access mines of Gyzylbulag and Demirli mines

Anglo Asian Mining PLC sent a letter to representatives of a number of international organizations and governments, including the UN, the State Department of the United States, the British Foreign Ministry and the European Union on the activities of the company and the rights to mining in deposits, which are currently operated by others.

The company turned to these structures with a request to support the restoration of its legal rights and ensuring the safe access of its employees to the Gyzylbulag and Demirli mines and the adjacent territories in Karabakh.

These mines are within the region controlled by Russian peacekeeping forces, but the company believes that illegal mining of minerals was conducted and continues to be maintained in these territories.
