Ankara accused Western allies of trying to destabilize Turkey

Western allies of Ankara are trying to directly and indirectly destabilize Turkey with their support of terrorists, said the head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Administration Fakhrettin Altun.

“Our Western allies should carefully and thoroughly think about their support. They directly or indirectly try to destabilize the situation in our country. And their support leads to the death of innocent Turks,” Altun wrote in social networks.

Fakhretin Altun also called the farce the Western arguments that the support of some terrorist organizations to combat others has strategic justifications. “Their strategic arguments are a farce. So they do not fight terrorism. You cannot fight terrorists with the hands of other terrorists. You can do this only [forces] of the alliance of countries that are committed to the fight against terrorism,” he said.
