Another combat group: NATO is building up its presence in Romania

NATO decided to increase the presence of troops in the Balkans, the NATO JFC Naples on Twitter said in a message.

It is reported that NATO is already creating a combat group in Romania to strengthen the protection of the boundaries of the alliance. “The NATO response forces have been activated, and the alliance created a new combat group in Romania,” the statement said.

NATO noted that the alliance participants are constantly conducting exercises to prepare for any threat to ensure the security of the North Atlantic Union.
