The chairman of the parliamentary faction “The servant of the people” of the Ukrainian parliament David Arahamia believes that the opportunity to resume negotiations with the Russian Federation may appear in the second half of 2023.
“Honestly, I believe that this will be when the electoral cycles begin to work both in Russia and the USA, this is somewhere in the second half of next year, when presidential races in the USA will already start. And to that Putin will be elections in 2024. I do not think that he is able to demonstrate some military successes, so they may try to act on the diplomatic front. “
Arahamia emphasized that Ukraine will sit at the negotiating table when the conditions will be met.
