The number of poor in Armenia will increase. Such a forecast was given by the Minister of Labor and Social issues of the country Narek Mkrtchyan, while assuring the authorities are taking “necessary measures to mitigate social problems,” the Armenian media write.
“Given that we are at the stage of overcoming the post -war post -crisis situation, we can grow poverty, but this is not the final picture,” the minister said.
According to MKRTYCHYAN, if it were not for the increase in pensions, benefits and social benefits, poverty could grow up to 50% of the population.
