Armenian authorities: there will be no early parliamentary elections

The parliamentary elections in Armenia last year answered all the questions raised by participants in the protest movement in the country, there are no prerequisites for the forecasts of different scenarios, including holding new elections. This was announced in an interview with RIA Novosti by the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mger Grigoryan.

“Absolutely democratic, free and legitimate parliamentary elections in Armenia in June 2021 gave answers to all those questions that are today extended by the protest movement of the minority,” said the deputy head of the Armenian government, answering the question of the probability of new elections in the country.

Extraordinary parliamentary elections were held in Armenia on June 20, 2021, 21 party and four blocs took part in them. Party “Civil Treaty” by Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan, according to the final data of the CEC, won from 53.91%.
