Armenian minister attacked journalist in cafe

The Special Investigation Service of Armenia is preparing materials on the case of the attack of the Minister of High-Tech Industry Hakob Arshakyan on journalist Paylak Fakhradyan in one of the Yerevan cafes. Sputnik Armenia was informed about this by the press service of the Armenian Prosecutor’s Office.

“Today, March 18, the General Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia sent a message to the Special Investigation Service about the attack committed by Minister Hakob Arshakyan on journalist Paylak Fakhradyan in a cafe,” the message says.

Earlier, journalist Paylak Fakhradyan said live on his Facebook page that Hakob Arshakyan attacked him in one of the cafes in Yerevan. The journalist approached the minister and asked why he spends his working time in a cafe. Arshakyan first replied that he worked at night, then asked the journalist to turn off the camera, and then began to threaten. The journalist went up to the second floor of the cafe and started working on a laptop. Hakob Arshakyan approached the journalist, hit him in the face, then smashed his laptop.

The video of the incident was leaked on the Internet.
