As result of floods in 3 days in Afghanistan, 14 people were killed

Over the past 3 days, the floods in various provinces of Afghanistan died 14 people.

spokeswoman for the State Ministry of Natural Afghanist of the Provisional Government of Afghanistan Mullah Hanan Saik made a press for this.

Saik said that the floods occurred in 14 provinces throughout the country, including such provinces as Herat, Sar-E Paul, Ferach, Lagman, Nuristan and host.

He noted that in 3 days 14 people were killed as a result of floods, 140 houses were damaged and more than 2 thousand animals were lost.

In Afghanistan, the melting of snow falling in the winter months, with warming of the weather, heavy rains and floods that occur as a result of insufficient infrastructure, lead to an increase in the number of victims and material losses. For this reason, hundreds of people die in the country annually.
