Ash Shabab militants attacked hotel in Somalia

Anthilians of the Ash Shabab terrorist organization made an armed attack on the hotel in Somalia.

In a hotel located near the presidential complex in the capital of the country, Mogadisho, an explosion thundered, after which a shootout between terrorists and security began.

A lot of people were wounded as a result of the attack, including the press secretary of the government, Farhan Muhammad Zhimamal, Abdihamid Abdullahi Phanax from the commanding staff of the Somali police, media officers and some deputies.

Local media write that several deputies were killed as a result of the attack.

Somalia government has not yet commented on reports on the hotel attack.

The responsibility for the attack was taken by the Ash Shabab terrorist organization.

The hotel that was attacked is located in the protected area. In the complex, meetings of government officials are regularly held.
