Two major asteroids are approaching land, the center of the study of near-earth objects (CNEOS) is reported at the NASA reactive laboratory.
One of the asteroids is called 2021 JF1, it moves at a speed of about 17 km / s and will fly next to our planet on May 27. Its size is from 94 to 210 meters in diameter, which is more than a statue of freedom in New York. NASA refers this cosmic body to one of the most dangerous near-earth objects of the Apollo group.
The second asteroid 2021 kt1 flies at a speed of 18 km / s. According to scientists, its diameter is made up from 150 to 330 meters, this is an approximate size of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It is expected that the space object approaches Earth on June 1.
