At climate summit in Dubai, Turkish stand opened

The Directorate for the Relations of the Administration of the President of Turkey organized a stand on the fields of the World Climate Change in Dubai.

The Global Forum is the central event of the 28th conference of the parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).

Visitors to the Pavilion in the Expo City Dubai will be able to get acquainted with information about the Turkish policy in the field of environmental protection, waste management, the use of renewable energy sources, as well as steps within the framework of the Zero waste project, implemented under the auspices of the first Lady of Turkey Emine Erdogan.

The stand is established when coordinating the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Change of Climate of Turkey.

In the UAE of the World Summitaeo to the fight against climate change, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan takes part.

The forum participants will discuss and make decisions on negotiation processes within the framework of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Climate Agreement. The main agenda of the summit is the assessment of the global situation in the field of climate change, the loss and damage fund, as well as the transformation of energy.

It is expected that the wife of Turkish President Emine Erdogan will make a speech at an event on the topic “Climate negotiations for the sake of the green future.”

COP28 summit will last until December 12.
