Austria is preparing for emergency situations with gas

Austria Government will assess the volume of natural gas in the country’s underground storage facilities (PHG) and may consider increasing the level of anxiety, writes Bloomberg with reference to the state television company Orf.

As the publication notes, the transition to the second level will require large gas consumers to inform the regulatory authorities about daily fuel needs. It also involves launching balancing tools. Bloomberg also writes that PHG in the east of the country is filled with 61%.
