“Austria will agree to provide Ukraine with the status of a candidate for joining the European Union, if the same status is granted to the countries of the Western Balkans and Moldova.” This was stated on Friday by the Austrian Chancellor Karl Nekammer during a visit to Estonia, TASS reports.
According to him, the condition of Austria is that if Ukraine receives the status of a candidate for membership, then “this should concern the countries of the Western Balkans and Moldova.”
