In order to ensure the sustainability of food supplies on an extraordinary online-offering of technical committees “Grain and Grain products” and “The quality and technology of food products”, the quality of wheat supplied to our country was discussed. Information was distributed by the State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of the Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy.
According to information, at a meeting with the participation of representatives and specialists of the Azerbaijani Institute for Standardization in the Public Service, as well as the Agency for State Reserves, the requirements for the quality of the supplied grain.
At the meeting, it was decided to amend the state standard AZS 888: 2020 “Wheat. Technical conditions” in accordance with the Law “On Standardization”.
The changes made to the State Standard will expand the capabilities and potential of the supply of food wheat imported to the country.
