Since the beginning of 2022, Azerbaijan’s strategic reserves have increased by 3.5 percent, amounting to $ 55.1 billion, Talekh Kyazimov, chairman of the Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (TsBA), told reporters on Friday.
“Currency reserves of the Central Bank grew by 8.4 percent in January -September this year to $ 7.7 billion,” he said.
Earlier on Friday, it became known that the Central Bank decided to increase the discount rate by 0.25 percent – up to eight percent.
