Parliament today discussed the relevant amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses.
For allegations of a person’s guilt without a court decision: officials 1,000-1 500 manat, legal persons-2 500-3 500 manat.
For disclosing the source of information in cases not provided for by law: individuals – 200-300 manat, officials – 500-700 manat, legal entities – 2,000-3,000 manat.
For violation of the rules for giving reference, answer and correction: officials 300-600 manat, legal-1,000-1 500 manat.
For the obstruction of the spread of media products – 200-300 manat.
For illegal interference in the professional activities of journalists – 300-600 manat.
If the report of the journalist does not answer within the deadline established by law – 300-500 manat.
The bill was adopted in the first reading.
