In Azerbaijan, fines will be increased for participation in gambling.
This is reflected in the draft law “On Amendments to the Code of the Azerbaijan Republic on administrative misconduct”, which will be discussed tomorrow at Milli Majlis in the third reading.
for current legislation, participation in gambling is punished with a fine of 400 to 600 manat with confiscation of game equipment, as well as embedded money or other property invested in these games.
According to the project, the participation in gambling will be penalized by 5,000 manat with confiscation of game equipment, as well as paid money or other property, winnings, prizes or other income paid for participating in these games.
The project was brought to a vote in the third reading and adopted.
