Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry on actions of Iranian police

During an attack on the Azerbaijan Embassy in Iran, the Iranian police did not take any measures to prevent a terrorist attack, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Ayhan Hajizade said at a briefing for journalists.

He noted that while the terrorist made various attempts to penetrate the Azerbaijani embassy, ​​the Iranian police inactive: “Seeing that an attempt to penetrate the embassy was unsuccessful, a terrorist, armed with an automaton, a gun and a bottle of incendiary mixture , opened fire on the windows of apartments on the floor, where the family members of the diplomatic mission were located.
