According to the press service of the defense department, on the afternoon of September 30, fire from a sniper weapon was opened from the territory of Armenia at the positions of the Azerbaijani army located in the direction of the village of Auchay Ayrym Kyalbajarsky district.
As a result of the shelling, the Azerbaijani soldier died, the department said.
