Azerbaijan: quarantine is extended and some restrictions were removed

The Cabinet of Ministers decided “On additional measures related to the extension of a special quarantine regime and the elimination of a number of restrictions”.

According to the decision, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) and its possible consequences in the country, the period of a special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan is extended until 06:00 on September 1, 2022.

also from June 21 of this year, the following restrictions related to the above mode are abolished:

– the requirement to prohibit groups of more than 10 people (with the exception of close relatives, that is, fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandparents, children, brothers and sisters) in public places, including on the streets, boulevards, parks and other places;

– entering information during the organization and holding of festivities to the portal icaze.e-gov.az, as well as the requirement to sign the obligation to joint liability between the organizer of the festive ceremony and the owner of the place where it is held.
