Azerbaijan handed over the Armenian side of Armen Verdyan, lost and hit the territory controlled by Azerbaijani military. This is stated in the state compliance report on the cases of prisoners missing and hostages of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
“Today, a citizen of Armenia Verdyan Armen Abrimikovich (born in 1971), got lost and hit the territory controlled by Azerbaijani armed forces. Azerbaijan handed over to this person to Armenia in accordance with the principles of humanism,” the department says.
