Today there is information about the death during an earthquake in Turkey, a resident of the city of Baku Biniyatova Nili Aydin Gyzy, born in 1980, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on Wednesday.
It was noted that the necessary measures were taken to deliver the body of the deceased to Azerbaijan.
Recall that on February 6, an earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred in Turkey. The focus of the earthquake with the epicenter in the area of Pazardzhik of the province of Kazakhmanmarash lay at a depth of 7 kilometers.
As a result of the earthquake, serious destruction took place in the provinces of Hatai, Gaziantep, Kilis, Osmania, Malaya, Adyyaman, Chanlyurf, Diyarbekir, Adan and Kakhramanmarash.
The number of those killed as a result of an earthquake in Turkey reached 8,574, the victims – 49 133.
