Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Romorg Agreement with Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC for the reconstruction of a 25.6-kilometer section of Jirlaul-Haragauli-ponya-chumatelli road, which connects Haragauli Municipality with the East-West motorway (E-60), write Georgian media.
According to the department, the termination of the contract is due to non-compliance with the contractor undertaken obligations. The contract was signed by the parties on December 4, 2018, the cost of work on it was about $ 20 million at the date of concluding a contract.
AKKORD INDUSTRY was recognized as the winner of the international tender for the reconstruction of the plot of the prayer-chumateli of the Dzirula-Haragauli-pray-pona-chumateli road, in which 13 companies participated.
The project was financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) loan. Works should have been completed in 2.5 years from the date of signing the contract. The project included the reconstruction of 22 bridges, laying drainage pipes, kittylovanov, construction of retaining walls, road marking, and a device for protective fences, laying asphalt coating.
