Azerbaijani judoists won 19 medals in Croatia, Poland and France

Azerbaijani judoers produced 19 awards at competitions in Dubrovnik (Croatia), Poznan (Poland) and Strasbourg (France).

In Dubrovnik, the European Cup among adults was held. To three medals (two gold and bronze), conquered yesterday, today our team added two more gold. Zelim Tskayev (81 kg) defeated rivals from the Netherlands, Israel, Slovenia, as well as two Italians and rose to the highest step of the podium. The yusif immigrants (over 100 kg) defeated two Croats and the British and also took the 1st place. Thus, in Dubrovnik, the national team of Azerbaijan was awarded four gold medals and one bronze.

In the Youth Cup of Europe in Poznan Azerbaijan has five awards – two gold, two silver and bronze. Aitaj Gardashhanly (63 kg) and Vugar Talybov (90 kg) turned out to be stronger than all in their weight categories. Kenul Aliyev (48 kg) and Sabina Aliyev (57 kg) gave way to the final and satisfied with silver. Gadir Huseynov (73 kg) became a bronze medalist.

And at the European Cup among young men in Strasbourg, our judoists won nine medals – one gold, three silver and five bronze awards. The winner of the competition became Nizami Imran (60 kg), silver at Magomed Musaev (55 kg), Nijat Nagiyev (66 kg) and Ali Hajizade (73 kg), bronze was awarded Magomed Mamisov (50 kg), Halid Mamedov (50 kg), Shahin Oruzhzade (55 kg), Abil Yusubov (66 kg) and Nakhid Targuliyev (73 kg).

So, in Croatia, Poland and France, Azerbaijani judoists won in the amount of 19 medals, of which seven gold, five silver and seven bronze.
