Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accepted the Minister for Hajj and the Saudi Arabia Taufy Bin Fausan Al Rabia.
The Minister with satisfaction noted the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia in all areas, including in the field of tourism, the growth of mutual tourist trips, positively appreciated the dynamics of flights.
He noted that Azerbaijan simplify the process of issuing visas to citizens of Saudi Arabia to a serious impetus to cooperation in the field of tourism.
Taufik Ben Fausan Al Rabia said that his country also took steps to simplify the process of issuing visas to citizens of Azerbaijan.
The president, in turn, expressed satisfaction with friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries.
The Head of State recalled that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based on the principle of Islamic solidarity, did not establish diplomatic relations with Armenia during the occupation of Azerbaijani lands.
Aliyev noted that the Azerbaijani people and the state are highly appreciated by the fact that Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are acting with such a fair position in the Islamic world.
The president affected the restoration and construction work currently in Karabakh, reported the implementation of the Great Return project.
Touching the positive dynamics in the growth of the number of tourists from Saudi Arabia in Azerbaijan, the head of state noted the importance of reaching dopandemic indicators.
He emphasized that there is great potential in this direction.
The meeting emphasized the importance of organizing exhibitions in Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, reflecting the economic, investment, tourist and other potential of our countries, the activities of the intergovernmental commission were noted.
It was noted that both in Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, large projects for the development of cities are being implemented, the importance of cooperation in this area is also emphasized.
